Why Isn't (..insert city name..) on the Tour Itinerary?

We are often asked why specific cities aren't on our tour itinerary. Some of the places we are most often asked about are:

• Bocas del Toro
• El Valle de Antón
• Pedasi
• Santa Fe

There are many nice places to live in Panama including the cities listed above. Unfortunately, we do not have time to visit every nice city in Panama during a 6-day tour.

The cities we visit during the tour were selected because we believe they will appeal to the largest majority of our tour guests. We have completed over 100 tours in the last 10 years and some of the cities listed above used to be on our itinerary. Based on feedback from our tour guests they were removed from the itinerary for one reason or another. The most common reason is that most of our guests told us those cities were too remote and lacking in amenities.

This doesn't mean they are bad places to live. People enjoy living in many cities that aren't on our itinerary.

The approach we take with our itinerary is to show you some of the most popular cities for expats in Panama. We also educate you on how to make an easy transition to Panama no matter which city you decide to live in. You may want to take some additional time after the tour to continue exploring Panama on your own - this could be revisiting cities that we saw during the tour or checking out cities you are interested in that aren't on our itinerary.
