Health & Mobility Requirements for Group Tours

Our 6-day group tour of Panama involves considerable walking, standing, and stair climbing, often on uneven terrain. For your safety and enjoyment—as well as the experience of the entire group—it’s important that all participants meet certain mobility requirements.

To join a group tour, you must be able to:

  • Walk a block on uneven surfaces
  • Go up and down one flight of stairs
  • Complete these activities, unassisted, several times daily, 6 days in a row

Canes and crutches are permitted if you can use them independently.

Unfortunately, walkers, wheelchairs, and mobility scooters cannot be accommodated on group tours.

If you are unsure whether you meet these requirements or have limited mobility, a Private Tour may be a better option.

If you have a disability that may impact your ability to participate in the tour, please notify us in advance so we can help you determine if a group tour is a good fit for you.
