Cell Phone Service

Using your existing cell phone during your tour is what we recommend.

Please contact your cell phone company before your trip to ask if you will be able to use your cell phone in Panama. Most cell phone companies offer this service but you may be required to pay an additional fee.

Alternative options:

#1 - All of the hotels we stay at during the tour have free wifi. You can connect to their wifi to use apps that only require data. Depending on the type of phone you have wifi may not work for phone calls or text messages.

#2 - Buy a sim card and / or a temporary phone to use while in Panama. Approximately 30 days before your tour we'll send an email letting you know which company we recommend for this. We'll also let you know when during your tour you'll be able to get a sim card or cell phone.
