Cash, ATMs, and Debit / Credit Cards

You won’t need to pay for much during the tour. In fact, we include all essentials. The main extras you might want to pay for are snacks, medications, alcohol, and souvenirs.

Many of the places we visit during the tour accept debit & credit cards (Visa and MasterCard). Others only accept cash (US dollars). ATMs are widely available and they dispense US dollars.

Make sure to contact your bank and credit card companies before you leave to give them your travel dates and let them know you may be using your card in Panama. You should also ask them if there will be any fees for using your card internationally.
